A garden at the foot of the tree

Honey Bee Acres Time to Garden & Tree House

The sixteen-piece Time to Garden set boxed with the twenty-one-piece Two-Story Tree House and its exclusive squirrel.

One box from the Honey Bee Acres line of flocked animal family playsets.

What is in the box

Bundle	Time to Garden (16 pieces) and Two-Story Tree House (21 pieces)
Figures	Dottie the rabbit and an exclusive squirrel
Treehouse	11.3 in H, slide, swinging chairs, basket crank lift
Ages	3 and up

The treehouse brings the slide, the swinging chairs and the hand-cranked basket lift; the garden brings the ground floor it was missing. Harvest the trellis, load the basket, crank it up to the top deck — the lift stops being a gimmick the moment there is something to send up in it.

The treehouse stands a little over eleven inches on a footprint of roughly seven and a half by eleven. Both figures, Dottie the rabbit and the squirrel, are flocked and posable with removable clothing, and nothing in either box needs building.

This is a paired box rather than a new idea: the garden and the tree house, packed together. Honey Bee Acres normally sells its animal families and playsets individually, and the pairs exist for the moment when one present has to do the work of two — here that means the whole outdoor half of the village. Nothing inside is exclusive to the pair; each half is the same box sold on its own elsewhere in the line, with the same three-inch poseable figures, the same interchangeable clothing and furniture and accessories at the one scale this flocked animal toys world has kept for years.

Honey Bee Acres is made and distributed by Sunny Days Entertainment. It belongs to a tradition of flocked animal toys that reached collectors from Japan decades ago and has barely changed since: round ears, soft coats and furniture cut to fit. Boxes are sold individually, so the village grows one at a time, and every poseable three-inch character shares the clothing, furniture and accessories of the whole line — one scale this animal toys world has held to for years.
