Jules sleeps under the stars

Honey Bee Acres S'mores & More Camping Trip

A tent, a campfire, a hot dog, marshmallows and a bear who would rather be outdoors — ten pieces that turn a rug into a campsite.

One box from the Honey Bee Acres line of flocked animal family playsets.

What is in the box

Set	Camping set, 10 pieces
Includes	Tent, campfire, hot dog, marshmallows
Figure	Exclusive Jules, 2.25 in flocked bear, posable
Ages	3 and up

Jules is the exclusive figure, a two-and-a-quarter-inch flocked bear with a posable head, arms and legs and an outfit that comes off. After a day in the sunshine she eats, roasts marshmallows over the fire and turns in, and that whole sequence is short enough for a three-year-old to run on their own.

Being small is the feature. This is the box that goes in a bag for a long car journey or sits beside a bigger playset as the place everyone escapes to at the weekend. The pieces are compatible with the larger environments on this site, so the campfire ends up in the treehouse garden more often than not.

A camping trip is the line's way of taking the village outdoors without another building. It is small, it comes with its own figure, and it works as an errand for animal families that already live somewhere — which is the point of selling those families individually. The accessories are the attraction here rather than furniture, and like everything in the Honey Bee Acres toys line they are scaled to three-inch poseable characters.

Honey Bee Acres is made and distributed by Sunny Days Entertainment. It belongs to a tradition of flocked animal toys that reached collectors from Japan decades ago and has barely changed since: round ears, soft coats and furniture cut to fit. Boxes are sold individually, so the village grows one at a time, and every poseable three-inch character shares the clothing, furniture and accessories of the whole line — one scale this animal toys world has held to for years.
