Honey Bee Acres The Cloverberrys Cow Family
Four cows in farm clothes — the set that anchors a countryside story, because once there are cows in the house somebody has to build them a field.
One box from the Honey Bee Acres line of flocked animal family playsets.
| Figures | 4 flocked cows: 2 parents, 2 kids |
|---|---|
| Heights | Parents 3 in, daughter 2.3 in, baby 1.875 in |
| Posable | Head, arms and legs |
| Weight | About 0.3 lb |
| Ages | 3 and up |
The parents stand three inches, daughter Buttercup a shade over two, and baby Pepper under two inches, so the size difference actually reads as a family rather than four copies of the same figure. Each one is moulded in durable plastic and finished in flock, which is what stops the paint on the faces from looking plastic under lamplight.
The whole set weighs under half a pound, which matters more than it sounds: this is the box that ends up in a tote bag for a car journey or a grandparent's kitchen table. It pairs with the barn-and-truck end of the line, and the outfits come off for the usual wardrobe negotiations.
Cows are the farm end of the village, and the Cloverberrys pair naturally with the truck and the garden rather than the pastry counter. Because the families are sold individually, a child who already keeps a household in the cottage can add a farming one without replacing anything: the figures are the same three inches, the clothing is interchangeable, and the accessories of every playset in the Honey Bee Acres toys line fit their paws as well as anyone else's.
Honey Bee Acres is made and distributed by Sunny Days Entertainment. It belongs to a tradition of flocked animal toys that reached collectors from Japan decades ago and has barely changed since: round ears, soft coats and furniture cut to fit. Boxes are sold individually, so the village grows one at a time, and every poseable three-inch character shares the clothing, furniture and accessories of the whole line — one scale this animal toys world has held to for years.
