Honey Bee Acres The Purringtons Cat Family
A cat household of four in bright printed outfits, with the soft felt-like finish that makes children handle them gently without being told to.
One box from the Honey Bee Acres line of flocked animal family playsets.

| Outfits | Removable and interchangeable |

Parents Fritz and Ella stand around three and a quarter inches, Zoe two and a half, and Rose two inches even. Posable heads, arms and legs mean the cats can be sat at a table, laid in a bed or stood at a shop counter, which is most of what a small-world story asks of a figure.
This is a good second family to own. One household on its own tells a thin story; two households start visiting each other, borrowing clothes and arguing over who gets the upstairs bedroom. The outfits are cut to the shared pattern, so the visiting works both ways.
Cats sit in the middle of the line — neither farm nor shopfront — which is why the Purringtons end up living in whichever building arrived first. The animal families here are sold individually, so four cats can be the whole village for a while and still be joined later without a seam. Poseable at head, arms and legs, dressed in clothing that lifts off, they are unique characters in the same world as every other box on this site.
Honey Bee Acres is made and distributed by Sunny Days Entertainment. It belongs to a tradition of flocked animal toys that reached collectors from Japan decades ago and has barely changed since: round ears, soft coats and furniture cut to fit. Boxes are sold individually, so the village grows one at a time, and every poseable three-inch character shares the clothing, furniture and accessories of the whole line — one scale this animal toys world has held to for years.
