Honey Bee Acres The Cuddlesworths Bear Family
The bear household — two parents, a daughter and a baby who is small enough to be carried around the house in somebody else's paw.
One box from the Honey Bee Acres line of flocked animal family playsets.
| Figures | 4 flocked bears: 2 parents, 2 kids |
|---|---|
| Heights | Parents 4 in, Sasha 3 in, Toby 2.375 in |
| Posable | Head, arms and legs |
| Outfits | Removable and interchangeable |
| Ages | 3 and up |
Wally and Cherry stand four inches, Sasha three, and Toby just over two and a third, so the four of them read instantly as grown-ups, a child and a baby without anyone having to explain it. That height ladder is what sends the storytelling where it goes: the baby gets looked after, the daughter runs ahead, the parents follow.
Every bear has the flocked finish and the posable head, arms and legs, and every outfit lifts off to be swapped with the rest of the village. If a household already lives on the shelf, a second one gives the first somebody to visit, and the bears are a soft, unfussy choice for that second box.
Bears are the largest-looking family in the line and read as the grandparents of the village even though they are not sold that way. Honey Bee Acres families come individually, so the Cuddlesworths are a common second or third household — the figures are poseable at head, arms and legs like every other character, the clothing is interchangeable across the whole line, and the furniture inside any Acres building is already their size.
Honey Bee Acres is made and distributed by Sunny Days Entertainment. It belongs to a tradition of flocked animal toys that reached collectors from Japan decades ago and has barely changed since: round ears, soft coats and furniture cut to fit. Boxes are sold individually, so the village grows one at a time, and every poseable three-inch character shares the clothing, furniture and accessories of the whole line — one scale this animal toys world has held to for years.
